WHAT DO I NEED TO LEARN TO RIDE?
You need to be at least 16 years old
You need to be able to ride a bicycle without falling off
You need to be able to speak, understand and read basic English
You need a valid provisional or full UK driving licence


DO YOU SUPPLY THE BIKES AND SCOOTERS?
Yes


DO I NEED A THEORY TEST TO DO A CBT?
No


I AM SHORT HOW TALL DO I NEED TO BE?
Everybody's got different length legs, pop in and have a sit on our bikes before you book.


I WANT TO DRIVE TO YOU WHERE CAN I PARK?
We have free off road parking.


DO I HAVE TO BRING MY OWN BIKE GEAR?
No, we can lend you a helmet, jacket, gloves and waterproofs if you need them. If you have your own bike gear you are more than welcome to bring it.


CAN I WEAR FLIP FLOPS AND SHORTS IF IT IS HOT?
No, turn up in sensible clothing like jeans, long sleeves and preferably footwear that covers your ankles and fellas remember no stilettos.


WHAT ARE YOUR OPENING TIMES
If you want to speak to a human the phones open at 9am and close at 7pm, the humans have lunch between 12 and 1pm.
They stop answering calls from 1pm on Saturdays and we bribe them to come back on Monday morning at 9am.


 WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY COURSE?
No problem, you can have a refund (£20 cancellation fee) or be rebooked onto another day of your choice FOC. However it needs to be no less than 14 days notice for full licence courses and 7 days notice for all other courses. If you booked a course less than the notice period permitted it can not be cancelled or refunded.


WHAT HAPPENS IF I DONT TURN UP OR I AM LATE FOR MY COURSE?
If you do not show up you will lose your course fee, if you are late the course will begin without you and you will lose your fee
if you have paid a deposit and do not turn up for your course you will be charged for the full amount of the course booked.


WHAT HAPPENS IF IT IS RAINING?
We will lend you waterproofs.


WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS NOT GOING TO BE VERY GOOD ON MY TRAINING DAY, CAN I MAKE UP A REALY GOOD EXCUSE NOT TO COME IN AND GET A REFUND?
No.


WHAT HAPPENS IF A SATELLITE CRASHES OR A HURRICANE HITS YOUR SITE?
No problem, if we have to cancel your course we will give you a full refund or get you back on a day of your choice free of charge.


WHAT HAPPENS IF I DEVELOP A LIFE THREATENING ILLNESS OR FORGET SOMETHING REALY IMPORTANT?
These mysterious symptoms normally appear when this natural phenomenon called rain is on its way. We have heard some unbelievably brilliant excuses. If you ring us and it is less than 14 days notice for full licence courses and 7 days notice for other courses before you are due to turn up and want to cancel or change your course you will not get a refund.


I HAVE CALLED LOTS OF TIMES AND GET NO ANSWER
If you call us from outside the UK or you withhold your number, your call will not be answered.


WHAT HAPPENS IF I WANT TO BRING MY OWN MOTORCYCLE OR SCOOTER?
No problem, however it needs to be road worthy, legal and you have to bring your insurance and MOT.



WHAT HAPPENS IF I LEAVE SOMETHING AT TMT's SITE OR I NOTICE SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY CBT CERTIFICATE?
Please take all your belonging with you when you leave us, sometimes students leave things behind by accident. Call us so we can arrange to reunite you with your belongings or issue you with a duplicate CBT certificate. Please check the details on your CBT certificate before you leave TMT as we will not be held responsible once you have left our premises. 



I HAVE GOT A TMT TRAINING VOUCHER WHAT DO I DO WITH IT
All you need to do is call us so we can get you in on a day of your choice and do it sooner than later all vouchers and courses are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
